Cavaliers Win Game 3 of Eastern Conference 1st Round
Saturday, April 25, 2009Despite scoring only 9 points in the 3rd quarter, the Cavaliers still pull-off a W.
The Pistons looked better after the 3rd quarter as they held Cleveland to only 9 points
and had the game on a deadlock. A much better performance by Detroit compared to
their two previous games.
The Cavaliers had other plans as the 4th quarter started, immediately correcting their
mistakes and taking the ball to the basket. Joe Smith had a career playoff night with
19 points and 10 rebounds.
Now the Cavaliers has a commanding lead in the series
with 3-0.
Note:
No NBA team has come to win a playoff series from 0-3.

Boston Celtics Win Game 2: This Time Allen Made It
Game 2 of their Eastern Conference Playoffs 1st Round.
This time they do it with fashion.
Another close game between Chicago and Boston, the game was a shootout between
Bulls’ Ben Gordon and Celtics’ Ray Allen. Both players traded baskets the whole game.
Ben Gordon had a great shooting night with 42 points 58.3% shooting in the field 54%
in 3-point distance while Ray Allen scored 30 points 50% from the field 60% from
downtown. Both of them were scorching.
Ray Allen ended his duel against Ben Gordon by hitting the tie breaking 3 point basket
over the out-stretched hands of Noah. Giving the Celtics a 118-115 win over the Chicago
Bulls and tying the series to one game a piece.
Boston Celtics loss Game 1 vs Chicago Bulls
Entering the playoffs without Kevin Garnett was a nightmare for the Celtics.
Wanting to defend their title as last year’s NBA Champion.
Game 1 was more of a nightmare as Chicago rookie point guard Derrick Rose burnt them with
36 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds.
Ray Allen had a chance to tie the game once again and send it to a 2nd overtime but his shot
bounced of the back of the rim as time expired.
Although it was a close game, the Celtics looked like they missed KG’s presence in the game.
